GS Medical USA announced changes in its executive leadership team to carry forward the company’s plan for continued profitability and year-over-year double-digit growth.

According to a company release, SK Hong will lead GS Medical’s International Sales, and will serve a dual role in managing the company’s US business as vice president of Operations. To sharpen GS Medical’s strategic initiatives, and drive new sales growth across the company, Mark Cohen has been named vice president of Sales for the US.  Joseph Jin has been named interim executive vice president, and will focus on aligning sales and marketing directives within the Americas.  These leadership changes are effective immediately.

“GS Medical is well-positioned to capitalise on the strength and experience of a highly capable leadership team to support the further development of our organisation and efforts within the US and Americas,” says James Shin, chief executive officer of GS Medical Co, and GS Medical USA. “These changes will have a positive impact on our long-term plans for continued profitable growth, greater productivity, and geographic expansion.”

GS Medical also announced the company’s year-end financials, including a double-digit revenue growth over FY’12. GSM attributes the strong growth to new product launch cycles, product extensions, and new distribution partnerships.  GS Medical’s fiscal growth is also partly attributed to the launch of the company’s AnyPlus MIS NX, a percutaneous spinal fixation system designed and manufactured in the US.
