X-Spine—a subsidiary of Xtant Medical—has been granted clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration for the Xspan laminoplasty fixation system.
The Xspan device is intended for use in the lower cervical and upper thoracic spine (C3-T3). “We are very pleased to have received clearance for Xspan,” states David Kirschman, chief security officer, executive vice president and director of Xtant Medical. “This system will allow Xtant Medical to serve the growing needs of our surgeon partners.”
