USTPO grants patent to Aurora Spine for polyaxial Zip interspinous device

The United States Trademark and Patent Office (USTPO) has granted Aurora Spine a patent related to its polyaxial Zip interspinous device.

The patent (number: 9,603,637) is entitled “Polyaxial Interspinous Fusion Implant and Bone Growth Stimulation System.” This patent application covers the company’s first polyaxial implant design.

This is Aurora’s second US patent. The company has several other US and international patent applications pending directed to the Zip system and its future technologies.
