Titan Spine has announced that it is sponsoring an education workshop at the Deutsche Wirbelsäulengesellschaft (DWG) German Spine Conference (5–7 December, Frankfurt, Germany) on 6th December at 1–2.30pm.

According to a press release, the workshop titled “Enhancing interbody fusion through novel surface technology: basic science and clinical results” will be led by the spine surgeons Axel Reinhardt (of Potsdam, Germany) and Alexander Kirgis (of Munich, Germany).

The workshop aims to educate surgeons on the science and design rationale of Titan Spine’s proprietary surface technology, outline clinical results with two spinal interbody fusion devices from its Endoskeleton product line and highlight outcomes from surgeon case studies.

Axel Reinhardt, head of the department of Spinal Surgery at the Specialized Orthopaedic Hospital in Potsdam, Germany said, “I am excited to collaborate with Titan Spine and fellow members of the Key Opinion Leader Advisory Team to support the education of surgeons on the Company’s surface technology and outline its positive integration into spinal care within my practice. With the ability to actively participate in the fusion process, Endoskeleton devices exhibit unique characteristics that have been shown to positively impact patient outcomes.”
