Spineology has announced the full US market release of its Palisade pedicular fixation system.
The Palisade pedicular fixation system is designed to minimise surgical invasiveness and enhance efficiency. The integrated break-off screw extensions and quick start screw are designed to minimise procedural steps and limit tissue disruption during screw insertion and rod placement.
Peter Liechty and Deepak Awasthi, of Thibodaux, USA were the first surgeons to treat patients using the system. “I am able to employ sub-centimetre incisions using this highly capable system. It is very intuitive,” says Liechty.
Harry Lockstadt of Lexington, USA, adds, “It is a superior minimally invasive fixation system.”
Spineology showcased the Palisade system for the first time at the 2016 American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Meeting.
