Spinal Elements has announced that over 10,000 Ti-Bond interbody devices have been implanted. To celebrate this milestone a Ti-Bond warranty programme has been initiated.

Ti-Bond is the name of Spinal Elements’ porous titanium coating, applied to PEEK interbody devices.

The Ti-Bond coating—applied on the endplates of PEEK devices at the endplates—is a hydrophilic, roughened surface to be placed in juxtaposition to the vertebrae of the spine.

Spinal Elements is now able to offer a warranty for its Ti-Bond implants. The warranty concerns devices delamination, chipping, peeling, shedding, or debris generation at the time of surgery, and are further against implant fracture in whole or in part, coating delamination, pseudarthrosis, implant migration, subsidence, or trauma for a year after surgery. According to a company release, Spinal Elements will replace the implant free of charge if any of these events are to occur.
