NuVasive has announced the launch of its Cohere TLIF-O implant as well as the upcoming launch later this year of the Cohere TLIF-A implant. These two additions mean that it is the only company to offer both porous PEEK and porous titanium implants for posterior spine surgery, say NuVasive.
Cohere TLIF-O is a porous PEEK implant for the transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) procedure with a variety of implant sizes to accommodate various patient anatomies and procedurally designed instrumentation.

Later in the fourth quarter, the company plans to launch the Cohere TLIF-A implant. While the device has similar clinical properties to Cohere TLIF-O, the Cohere TLIF-A implant is designed for anterior column support to maximise sagittal alignment correction.
