The National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) has recommended that spinal cord stimulation should be considered as a treatment option for adults with chronic pain of neuropathic or ischaemic origin. This means that people living a life of constant pain will now have access to spinal cord stimulation as an alternative treatment option.
