
The University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) in Albuquerque, USA, has been added as a clinical site for the INSPIRE (Invivo Study of Probable Benefit of the Neuro-spinal scaffold for Safety and Neurologic Recovery in Subjects with Complete Thoracic AIS A Spinal Cord Injury) study. UNMH is the only Level one trauma centre in the state of New Mexico.
“I am pleased to be joining the INSPIRE study and look forward to the opportunity to safely investigate this innovative experimental therapy,” says Jeremy Lewis, assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery and principal investigator at the study site.
