Life Spine has announced that the first surgical cases utilising its ARx spinal fixation system have been completed.
According to Life Spine, the ARx spinal fixation system is the next generation of posterior fixation technology and is a highly adaptable system designed to support both degenerative and complex spinal pathologies with a wide variety of implants, including modular and pre-assembled tulips.
Utilising Centerline Modular’s proven design, ARx provides superior pull-out strength while maintaining a slim tulip profile. The ARx system, accompanied by streamlined ergonomic instrumentation, facilitates reliability and confidence in restoring patient alignment, adds the company.
ARx offers customisable posterior fixation options and is compatible with Life Spine’s wide variety of micro invasive expandable solutions including the ProLift expandable spacer system, ProLift micro endoscopic expandable spacer system, ProLift wedge lordotic expandable spacer, TruLift expandable spacer system, and ProLift lateral expandable spacer system.
Alexander Lemons, an orthopaedic surgeon at Pinehurst Surgical Clinic (Pinehurst, USA), said: “The ARx modular screw system provides surgeons significant flexibility and increased visibility during surgery. Additionally, this allows for a reliable and substantial retraction option for interbody work.”
