At the 2008 Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE) meeting held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from September 12–15, a number of spinal companies made their debut. Interventional radiologists continue to have a growing interest in musculoskeletal intervention and each year the number of symposia, presentations, and workshops dedicated to this area also grows.Some of the companies exhibiting for the first time at CIRSE included BoneSupport, Galil Medical, and Synthes Spine.
