The Camber Spine presenters for next week’s North American Spine Society (NASS) annual meeting were announced by the company yesterday. Dr John Malloy IV (East Coast Orthopaedics, Pompano Beach, Florida, USA) and Dr Luis E Duarte (Texas Brain and Spine Institute and Shannon Medical Center, San Angelo, Texas, USA), will be presenting daily talks as part of the NASS Surgical Innovation Lab series.

Camber Spine presenters will speak at NASS 2017“We are honoured to have two well-esteemed surgeons who are leading innovation in alternative approaches to traditional fusion procedures,” said Daniel Pontecorvo, founder and CEO of the company.

The sponsored presentation from Malloy follows a successful talk at ISASS 2017, held in Boca Raton, Florida, USA, in April this year. Malloy will discuss how sacroiliac (SI) fusion products of Camber Spine can provide direct visualisation and maximal fusion in treating SI pain.

Camber Spine surgical innovation presenter Duarte will compare right and left-sided anterior to psoas (ATP) approaches in relation to the newly FDA-cleared Spira open matrix ALIF device.

The Pennsylvania-based musculoskeletal implant company says, “the combined use of Prolix SI joint fusion system and Siconus SI joint fixation system may be the only minimally-invasive surgery (MIS) … to foster true fusion of the SI joint.”

Camber Spine states that their Spira ALIF device can “increase fusion rates and stabilisation”, and maximise bone graft capacity.

The Camber Spine presenters will offer talks on both Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th during the conference in Orlando, Flora.

The NASS annual meeting is expected to attract over 3000 spine care professionals from around the globe.
