Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, USA has been added as a clinical site for the INSPIRE study (InVivo Study of Probable Benefit of the Neuro-Spinal Scaffold for Safety and Neurologic Recovery in Subjects with Complete Thoracic AIS A Spinal Cord Injury).
“We see many patients with spinal cord injuries, which makes us a great candidate for the INSPIRE study. There is a shortage of treatments for spinal cord injury and we look forward to being a part of this promising study,” says Martina Stippler, director of Neurotrauma in the Division of Neurosurgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and principal investigator at the study site.
