Amendia has launched its new corpectomy device, the Incorporate, commercially in the USA. The device is intended to provide surgeons with a safe and versatile vertebral body replacement option to replace a collapsed, damaged or unstable vertebral body.

The Incorporate has been designed to restore the biomechanical integrity of the anterior, middle and posterior column. Made of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) the implant is intended for surgeons looking to replace a diseased vertebral body and achieve anterior decompression of the spinal cord and neural tissues, while restoring the height of the vertebral body.

The product was introduced at the 32nd Annual Meeting of the Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves (DSPN) in Orlando, USA.
