Alphatec Spine will be showcasing their product portfolio at EuroSpine next week (1–3 October, Lyon, France) and will be hosting a workshop (2 October) entitled “Less invasive solutions—complex spine pathology” at the conference. Their booth number will be B18.

A press release reports that this year Alphatec Spine will be showcasing key products from all of their major portfolio segments including minimally invasive surgery, thoracolumbar, interbody, cervical and biologics. It adds that the key products that will be highlighted at their booth and workshops will include the Illico multilevel multilevel minimally invasive surgery system, the OsseoScrew spinal fixation system, the Zodiac direct vertebral rotation deformity system, the DiscoCerv artificial disc system, the Trestle Luxe anterior cervical plating system and the BridgePoint minimally invasive surgery spinous process fixation system. Additionally, the company will also be highlighting several of its biologics products that are designed to be integrated in a surgical procedure to aid in fusion.

The workshop will be held on 2October at 12:00pm in Room Bellecour 1 on Level 1. It will feature presentations and facilitation by key thought leaders in spinal surgery—for example, Michael Wong (neurosurgeon and spinal surgeon at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia). There will also be hands-on participation under the facilitation of Gad Velan (chief of Spine Surgery at The Soroka Medical Center in Israel) and Nikolai Gabrovsky (head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Hospital Pirogov in Bulgaria).

“EuroSpine 2014 is a venue where key thought leaders, researchers and surgeons from around the world gather to discuss new developments in the treatment of spinal disorders and related conditions,” says Jim Corbett, president and CEO of Alphatec Spine. “We look forward to engaging in the exchange of research and innovation, while showcasing our broad, global portfolio of spinal fusion technologies.
