Aesculap Implant Systems’ S4 Element MIS system has been recently named 2014’s Best New Technology for Minimally Invasive Spine Care by Orthopedics This Week.
The S4 Element MIS was selected by a distinguished panel of surgeon judges as a best new technology in minimally invasive spine care on the basis of its originality, clinical relevance, and likelihood of improving patient outcomes.
The S4 Element MIS system is the only posterior lumbar pedicle screw fixation system to utilise endoscope technology to gain direct visualisation, providing the advantages of minimally invasive surgery with enhanced view of the surgical site. The system also offers a rescue technique and instrumentation designed to minimise risk of open conversion during MIS.
