Participants are now invited to submit abstracts to the EUROSPINE scientific secretariat for consideration for inclusion in the 2018 annual meeting, to be held 19–21 September in Barcelona, Spain.

EUROSPINE is Europe’s largest spine society, with over 1,000 members and 6,800 associate members. In addition to scientific meetings, the society hosts an education programme and provides information for patients. It is also an instigator of Spine Tango, an international registry for documenting the efficiency and safety of innovation through technology or techniques in spine.

According to the society, presenting at the society’s annual meeting is “a unique opportunity to present your work to leading spine experts from around the globe.”

The 2017 annual meeting was held in Dublin, Ireland, with more than 3,600 attendees from 78 countries over the three days of the scientific programme.

Next year’s annual meeting will be the 20th anniversary of the society’s meetings. “We’re expecting a high-caliber crowd and first-class networking opportunities,” the conference website states. Local hosts are Luis Alvarez Galovich (Madrid), Ferran Pellisé (Barcelona), and Juan Bago (Barcelona).

EUROSPINE is now accepting abstract submissions online through their website, https://www.eurospine.org.

Abstract submission closes Thursday, 1 March 2018.
